Junior QA Engineer

We are seeking a Junior Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing startup and contribute towards scaling and improving the DRO Health products and services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring application stability and quality assurance at all stages of software development and deployment. You will conduct automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by the engineers is fit for purpose and any bugs or issues are removed before it gets deployed to everyday users.

You will also be directly working with the tech and product teams to ensure platform efficiency, performance and stability. Join us on this exciting journey at DRO Health and make a significant impact in the healthcare industry.

Experience: 2+ years

 

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and execute manual and automated tests for software applications

  • Identify and report defects, and collaborate with developers to resolve issues

  • Participate in testing planning, test case development, and test data management

  • Assist in testing efforts for multiple projects simultaneously

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards

  • Analyse testing results and provide feedback to developers

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and testing tools

 

Qualifications, Experience and skills required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance

  • Basic knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools

  • Understanding of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript C#)

  • Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Cypress or Playwright)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
